MSTable Movies

Here be bad movies. I don't mean "bad" as in "the director should have used a different framing technique", or "those costumes are two years out of style". We're talking movies that make Waterworld look like The Return of the Jedi. We're talking the quality of Ed Wood, Roger Corman, and Bert I. Gordon.

This database was originally created as a resource for fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 who wanted to emulate Joel (or Mike) and the 'bots. It appears now that many readers of these pages are non-MSTies, and it has evolved into a forum for viewers of bad movies to share their pain and read silly reviews.

This is not in any way an official channel for suggesting movies to go on MST3K; as far as I know, neither Best Brains (y'know, those guys who make the show) nor the Sci-Fi Channel is even aware of its existence. Information on movies in upcoming episodes of MST3K can be found here.

Since I've never seen (or even heard of) most of these movies, there's also a rebuttals page for opposing opinions. Further information on some of these hunks o' celluloid can be found in the Internet Movie Database (formerly the Cardiff Movies Database).

If you have a suggestion to add, send a review to me. Almost all contributions are added to the list; the usual reason for rejection is that the contributor let on that the movie they're suggesting is actually good. Also, I edit out most heckling suggestions, in the vain, faint hope that someone connected with the show really is reading this...

This site has appeared in the Useless Web Pages Index. I told the author he was free to send in a review of any Christopher Lambert movie he wanted, to which he replied, "God, no. That would mean I would have to actually watch one again."
